Every Story has a Beginning. This is Ours.
For Tom Taylor, known by Tsquared to the community, gaming has always been a special part of his life—one that he’s held quite dear along his rise to the top. So in late 2005, when he looked out at the ever-increasing number of players flocking to the competitive gaming scene, he noted that many of these gamers were following the same path he traversed, what seemed, so very long ago.
Ever reminiscent, he remembered the long nights. The sacrifices. The work. Talking to these new gamers, it hit him. People want to get better. But how? Then, it hit him. Again—video game lessons in the spirit of golf and tennis instruction.
Acting quickly, he jumped on the Gaming Lessons name. Talking to his fellow pro players, an instructor roster was set. Then it started. Almost overnight, a website grew from nothingness to a place where players could step up their game. The concept was a smashing success.
Save a brief hiatus, Gaming Lessons has served as the number one source for professional video game instruction. But, that wasn’t good enough.
That’s why, in early 2009, Taylor joined with Ryan ‘Towey’ Towey, the man behind IP Tourneys, and Tom ‘Bluestrike2’ Stoecklein, who worked with him in the past for years, to step up Gaming Lessons itself. Hundreds of hours later, Gaming Lessons re-launched. And, with that launch, it further cemented itself as the world’s premier destination for those looking to step up their game.
As of January 2010 Ryan Towey no longer works alongside the Gaming Lessons Company. All questions, comments, concerns, and support can be directed either to the contact form or directly to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) .
